@tyfgibson This is insightful and I agree. If Christians have arguments instead of love they are clanging gongs. However, there is a place for talking about rational reasons to believe in God. I am still a Christian because of traditional apologetics.

Seems to me that any minister who panders to the self-righteous scruples and self-serving demands of the “saints” at the expense of “sinners” should become something like a wedding planner or a party clown.

I'm halfway through "The Sonship of Christ" by @tyfgibson. I think it's the best accessible book of biblical teaching written by a living Adventist since @JonPaulien wrote "What the Bible Says About the End-Time." Highly recommend!
