On #WomensEqualityDay we celebrate the progress we've made for women's rights, and acknowledge how much further we have to go. #EqualityCantWait—it's time to pass the Equal Rights Amendment.
The bad news? It’s going to take 208 years to achieve gender equality in the U.S. The good news? We can change this. If we act now, we shorten the timeline. #EqualityCantWait https://t.co/i8dMsjRBVf
Everyone should be treated equally under the law, but the U.S. Constitution does not currently guarantee women the same rights and protections as men. So far, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) has been ratified by 37 states. #ERANow
I am so proud to be joined by Senator @lisamurkowski and the @ERACoalition to host a briefing on ending the deadline to ratify the #ERA.

#ERANow
We are only one state away from the 38 needed to ratify this amendment.
Senator @lisamurkowski and I have already introduced S.J.Res 6, a resolution to remove the #ERA deadline once and for all.
We can get this done!
Our panelists today remind us what we know is true:
The #ERA is a basic but important principle.
It's not about a partisan agenda.
It's about equality.

I’m proud to continue working with an organization developing strategy to mobilize for the Equal Rights Amendment. Give @thc_org a follow and demand your elected officials recognize that equality of rights under the law shall not be denied on the basis of sex. #TheHumanCampaign
Today I spoke at an @ERACoalition briefing alongside @SenatorCardin regarding our bipartisan joint resolution, S.J.Res.6, which removes the deadline for ratification of the ERA. There should never be a time limit on women’s equality. #ERANow
In today's paper: Equal Rights Amendment gets a boost from the women of the US soccer team, remembering how Massachusetts played a key role in the Apollo 11 moon mission, and more. https://t.co/NLAds0jzsQ
So, while we are on the topic of #equalpay, perhaps it's also a good time to mention we still dont have an Equal Rights Amendment...which would also be a kinda good thing for soccer players & everyone else too. #womensrights
55 years ago, the Civil Rights Act finally outlawed segregation and put us on the path to a more equal society. Today, we continue the fight to strengthen and expand it—with the Equal Rights Amendment and the Equality Act—so all Americans are protected from discrimination.
You know what will help them with their case... an EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT!! They have higher ratings and win more often! #GenderPayGap#ERANOW ‘U.S. Women’s Team Sues Soccer Federation, Alleging Gender Discrimination - The Wall Street Journal’ https://t.co/1iJu7sgo7x

There’s no reason that in 2019 women should make 80 cents for every dollar earned by a man. We need to pass the Equal Pay Act and ensure pay equity in this country. #DemDebate
