@ashkan@NDP Just remembering the time "chesterfield" was removed from a script for being too Canadian, and an MST3K list was rejected for being "too niche." Not sure what made me think of that.
@arusbridger Question - why is Facebook allowed to take money from companies selling cocaine and other hard drugs, distribute the ads for said companies, put them in my newsfeed, but if I ask in a status if anyone else is seeing them my account becomes "at risk"?
@EvelynAswad Hi. I know larger, scarier, more important things are happening at this point in history, but does the meta oversight committee ever actually review cases? Currently my profile is "at risk" because I asked if anyone else was getting ads for cocaine.
@OversightBoard if Meta accepts ads for mail order cocaine and other hard drugs, and Meta takes money for those ads, and Meta will direct traffic to online venders of hard drugs, then why is my account "at risk" for asking if anyone else was swamped by ads for cocaine?
@TheFrankSkinner@Baddiel guys - I've been watching Columbo recently. I remember Frank musing on QI about whether or not Columbo has a glass eye, or if Peter Falk's glass eye is playing a real eye, and apparently this was a running debate you had.
Anyway, I watched "A Trace of Murder" (1997) last night. In it Columbo invites a guy to tag along in an investigation saying "three eyes are better than one." There was no mention of the other character being monophthalmic, so I take this to mean Columbo has a false eye.
@MJMcKean Martins haven't quite spoken to me yet, 000-15m aisde and one of thr CEO models. I know it's a me thing, not a Martin thing, but I do appreciate them. J-45s are great though, easily my favourite acoustic Gibson.
@JustinHawkins I'm currently watching the DVD bonus features for the Rolling Stones "Rock'n'Roll Circus" and there's a interview with Pete Townshend talking about Yoko... and he drifts into comparing her to The Darkness. Do with this what you will.
