@Imbashy14 @Momentous_iyke You talk about state but raise federal issues...IPOB has a problem with the way the Nation is being run as does OPC and most self respecting yoruba people hence amotekun and Ebube Agu. FG harrasment of the South east oppression and suppression.

At a private dinner in Paris yesterday evening with His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose bold and forward-thinking reforms have put our economy firmly on a path of sustainable growth.
The results are increasingly evident top Nigerian companies now included on the FTSE Russell Frontier 50 Index, the NGX at historic highs, increased foreign direct investment and renewed economic confidence, a unified and more stable foreign exchange market, foreign reserves standing strong at about $55 billion, and so much more.
I remain proud of you, Mr. President! 🇳🇬

The currency redesign is not peculiar to Nigeria. It is an exercise that comes with some inconvenience and pain but it has significant longterm economic and social benefits. Even though there are improvements that can be made,
Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.
Well... Nope.
This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.

Over the past few years, a troubling pattern has emerged in our political discourse. Anyone who does not support Peter Obi is instantly branded a “bigot” by many Obidients.
To them, political neutrality is impossible, you must support him, praise him, and centre him, or you are automatically an enemy. You must also not support any other candidate.
I have been commenting on Nigerian politics since 2010, and in all that time, I have never encountered a political movement this intolerant of opposing views. Not even during the heated GEJ and Buhari years.
Some Yoruba people supported Goodluck Jonathan in 2011. He is an Ijaw man. Other Yoruba people supported Muhammadu Buhari in 2015. He is a Fulani man. But suddenly, in 2023, supporting a Yoruba candidate, one with a demonstrably strong record in public office, became “evil”.
On a personal note, the 2023 election was eye‑opening. I was defamed aggressively, both before and after the polls. The level of hostility shocked me. It felt as if a narrative had been engineered to demonise anyone who refused to fall in line and support Peter Obi.
Trying to understand this, I went back to history. I bought an Awo biography, because if you want to understand Nigerian politics, you must start with Chief Obafemi Awolowo who did well to document the early years. And what I discovered changed everything.
Reading The Biography of Chief Obafemi Awolowo in 2023, I realised that the tactics used by Obidients were not new at all. The same strategies of emotional blackmail, weaponised propaganda, moral absolutism, and the demonisation of opponents, were deployed in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Awo documented them clearly. History was repeating itself.
That discovery reframed the entire 2023 experience for me. And since then, I have been collecting his books. Frame 1 and Frame 2 were bought off Amazon. Frame 3 was gifted to me today by my wife and kids for Father’s Day. Frame 4 adds even more context.
Understanding our political past is the only way to make sense of our political present. Guys, please invest in books. They will make you understand who you are, what makes you strong, and why you cannot be a slave to the opinions and propaganda of folks who don’t even have your brain power.
A prophet is said to have no honor in his own city.
Listen to a foreigner, a Kenyan economic analyst, dissect the economic reality in Nigeria in comparison with Kenya.
Many years from now, this season will be remembered as the turning point for Nigeria's economy, even if many do not appreciate it now due to the attendant hardship it has brought, which is necessary for a nation that truly needs to grow and stimulate growth across critical sectors of the economy.
This Kenyan man really did his homework and carried out a thorough and critical analysis of the economic reforms in Nigeria and their immediate gains, especially in Lagos. Even many who live in Lagos do not appreciate the city they live in, but would rather see only the negatives.
Yet, a foreigner sees what many Nigerians do not see, or, for political considerations, choose not to see.

Welcome to Windsor! 🇬🇧🇳🇬
It was wonderful to welcome President Tinubu and First Lady, Mrs. Tinubu to Windsor Castle earlier today.
They joined The King and Queen for a Ceremonial Welcome in the Quadrangle, where President Tinubu was invited to inspect the Guard of Honour.
I have nominated Mr. Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance and conveyed his name to the Senate for confirmation.
Taiwo has served our nation diligently as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, leading the overhaul of our tax system with clarity, courage, and competence. His depth as an economist, accountant, and public policy expert will strengthen our fiscal architecture at a critical time.
Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite will continue to serve the nation as Minister of State at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning. Her experience across portfolios remains valuable to our reform agenda.
We are building a team defined by expertise, discipline, and results. The work continues.
Nigeria First.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
First it was Doyin Okupe that left Labour Party. He was called a bastard, old fool, bigot and traitor. Then, Kenneth Okonkwo left but he wasn’t ridiculed.
Yesterday Valentine Ozigbo resigned from the Labour Party and today he has joined APC. This move has been branded a masterstroke by some.
Why was it okay to abuse Doyin Okupe but not Kenneth Okonkwo and Valentine Ozigbo? This is the double standards some of us have called out repeatedly.
Why is it okay for some people to be free to openly express their political beliefs and pursue their interests but others are branded evil, bigots and traitors for doing same? The hypocrisy is too much.
THERE IS A PATTERN
Before Independence, their grandfather left his homestead, seeking to lead and command your grandfathers in their home.
In the First Republic, the fathers struck with iron and fire - a bloody coup, mercilessly slaughtering your fathers.
In that same First Republic, their father dared the gods and branded your land No Man’s Land.
At the collapse of the First Republic, the sons beat the drums of secession, crying independence - yet their boots marched westward, thirsting for your cities.
In the Second Republic, they hurled stones at the Sage, stretching murderous hands toward a sacred life.
In the Third Republic, their son procured a judgment that annulled destiny and denied your father the Presidency.
In that same Third Republic, their father demanded that your father be hanged.
Now, in the Fourth Republic, the grandchildren have taken their turn - "Let's abolish SOE; I have stayed 1 million seconds here, I can now be king... Same script, same chorus, different actors.
The blacksmith who returns again and again to the same spot, striking with patience and focus, is not confused - he is determined to shape a specific outcome.”
If you still cannot see the pattern - Best of luck.
Good Evening Severally...
