🇪🇺🇨🇦 JUST IN: EU and Canada Set To Announce a Massive New Trade and Security Pact
The European Union and Canada will unveil a broad partnership following Trump's continuous threats on September 16 in Strasbourg, led by Ursula von der Leyen, with Canadian PM Carney addressing the initiative the next day. This agreement expands on existing frameworks, including:
- CETA for tariff-free trade
- A 2025 security partnership
- Canada’s 2026 entry into the EU’s €150B defense procurement program
Covering critical minerals, LNG exports, and joint military exercises, the pact aims to diversify supply chains amid global shifts.
@cenkuygur Cenk if you want to get 90% of people agreeing with you just talk about the West Bank. I don’t know any orthodox or Ultra Orthodox Jews but everyone up to Consevative Jew plus everyone of any religion think the Settlers on the West Bank should be arrested.
@SarahLongwell25@acoyne I hope this Trump Trash is getting the media play it deserves. I expect very little of him. At this point I would be pleased if he could advance from a mental age 12 to 13. Even that may be pushing it.
@Scaramucci Looking forward to reading it Anthony. Not sure if you mention it in the book, but I think much of this “K” economy started with the banking deregulation of the 90’s. Wall Street went from investing in companies to creating dozens of ways to refinance them.
@Vcam109 Good point it’s been that definition in previous conflicts. This one has been different as that difference is accountable down the line the road but I don’t see any
@AshSavesUSA Join the club trying to figure that out. This seems to be part of an all or nothing campaign that must select everything in the campaign or nothing at all. No debate or conversation whatsoever.
@CharlieWalsham_ The other factor would be conservative parties in Britain, U.S. and Canada have imploded for various reasons. Where do you go? Refuse to vote? I think we are just about ready for someone to calm things down and put us back on track…..I hope.
@CharlieWalsham_ It is historically evident that whenever the left goes too far the right responds as a counterbalance. With everyone and everything so extreme today we cannot be surprised with this reaction from the right. For those surprised by this please wake up.
@JonahDispatch Did anyone notice that he has big X marks on queen Elizabeths’ eyes? Really mature and someone who you have to question why anyone would listen to him.
@Scaramucci I hope that the “Donald Damage” can be at least partially reversed. I am almost certain that even if the Dems can take control of the congress or senate it won’t help. If he doesn’t listen to other republicans or the court can we really expect him to listen to Bernie Sanders?
@anniedufour99 If Trump would actually ban Canadian steel there would be a shortage in the U.S. within 3 months. That would affect construction, real estate etc…..
@anniedufour99 Hi/Salut Annie. If Donald Trump plays around with the Canadian dollar it will probably go down, which will have the opposite effect of what he wants. Canadian businesses will have more competitive prices and will have another tool to get around the tariffs.
@cenkuygur These are excellent and rational thoughts. I think you are correct, but only with moderates. I am a “small c” conservative and I have no issue speaking to people on the left. In fact I have more in common with moderate liberals than people farther right than myself.
@JohnCleese Many don’t seem to understand the difference between religion and culture. The Bible / Torah/ Quran say to dress and be modest. That is all.
