Fair enough
But this ain’t the way to orient them.
This looks like a way to promote Minister Adebayo Adelabu in an act to express that he has that knowledge.
Orientate the people not condemn them.
VIDEO: Nigerians Lack Energy Consumption Management Culture -Power Minister
The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed concern over Nigerians' lack of consumption management regarding power, attributing it to the low cost of electricity.
The minister spoke at a press conference on the electricity tariff hike on Friday in Abuja.
Adelabu said: “We don’t have the culture of consumption management in terms of power just because of the cheapness.
“A lot of people will come back from work, they want to have dinner, or they want to see their colleagues down the road, they switch on the AC for the room to be cooling before they come back.
“Some people will be going to work in the morning, a freezer that you left on for days, they will still leave it on when all the items in the freezer are frozen and five, six, eight hours of their absence will not make it to defreeze, they will still leave it to be consuming power just because we are not paying enough.
“We have all been overseas before. We know how conscious the power consumers are to consumption of electricity.”

RE: VIRAL VIDEO OF POLICE OFFICERS DEMANDING DRONE PERMIT ON LEKKI-IKOYI LINK BRIDGE
In response to a now viral video showing two police officers demanding a drone permit from a drone operating individual on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Police Command wishes to clarify that the police officers acted within the ambit of the law to demand to see a permit.
For emphasis, Nigerian aviation laws stipulate that a permit must be obtained from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for the operation of drones weighing more than 250 grams anywhere within the country.
Nonetheless, the Lagos State Police Command totally condemns the unprofessional conduct of the officers in attempting to extort the drone operator as can be seen in the concluding part of the video.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade, mni has, therefore, directed the Commanding Officer of 49 PMF Akodo, from whose squadron the police officers were duly posted to the bridge, to produce the men for appropriate disciplinary actions.
