The State of Hawaiʻi has pledged to conserve, restore, & grow 100M trees in Hawaiʻi by the year 2030. It’s our part in a larger nationwide effort, called the trillion tree movement @1t_org, and is a direct approach to achieving net-negative carbon goals to combat global warming.

As we continue to organize in Occupied Hawai‘i, we must hold dear the fact that Hawaiian culture is inseparable from the Hawaiian land we seek to protect. Haunani-Kay Trask knew this better than most, and she will be dearly missed as the fight for Hawaiian sovereignty lives on.

Racial justice and climate justice are intimately linked. And while we’re grateful the verdict came back guilty, a verdict is not the end goal. Abolition of these racist systems is. We must keep organizing for a more just and equitable future.

1 Commit to fighting for people you don't know and a livable planet. Hard.

2 Join a local climate activism group or groups. Make climate friends.
