Happy Holidays!! @theMKFactor & @klipper801 at it again! Advent calendar solder project FTW.
My girls loved putting this together. Even includes a @SAINTCON mini badge holder!!!
Ever wanted to design a #DEFCON Badge? The #DEFCON31 call for Badge Designers is open. It’s a non-electronic badge year, so we’re looking for some wildly creative analog badge goodness.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
In honor of #ThrowbackThursdays we're throwing it back a week or so to the badge talk from #DEFCON30. Learn the magical mysteries of the musical badge from @theMKFactor and @thedarktangent and, as always, pass it on.

@lili_byte I've done it on a few boards, but it's not super easy. On the boards I tried it on, if there were a bunch of burn marks around the chip, the traces were way too damaged.
If your @defcon badge lets out its smoke, here is a workaround.
Use a hot air station to remove the audio chip (the burnt one)
*solder jumper from capacitor to resistor.
*solder jumper from audio jack to ground on USB.
