@RoKhanna Hey that's funny. I remember last time we got told the main reason the counting didn't make sense was because they counted all the absentees last, and those skew heavily democrat.
@NordicRest@CasualArtyFan Including artillery.
I have a cool patch some of the arty guys gave me over in the sandbox just about a month ago. They had ACOGs.
@contractorkeith That's horrendous.
I bought my current house in 2014. It's double that size, has acreage, is in a desirable area, looks out over Lake Michigan, and was $165k .
The very fact that that the little "cheapo" starter home is $225k is literally the problem.
@manzangab@Not_the_Bee You say this while literally quoting a guy that used statistics as evidence for a living. That's literally a branch of science/mathematics. One Carl Sagan participated in and used daily.
@ego_kingdom@Not_the_Bee First of all...he said statistically impossible.
Second of all: no, actually it's literally statistically likely that someone will win the lottery.
You simply don't understand how statistics work, and therefore should quietly remove yourself from this conversation.
@japan_nobunaga Japan's homicide rate was on a steady decline in the decades before their ban. Actually stalled and stayed the same after the ban before eventually picking up lowering at the same rate it had before.
There's zero statistical evidence that their ban was causal to low homicide.
@foxnewspolitics That's literally equivalent to showing your DD214 to prove you were actually in the Corps.
Seems like the only democratic candidate I'd consider voting for, honestly.
@CFoxtrot52@UltraDane Once lived in one. An uber-karen was in charge.
When we were selling she broke in, took realtor cards off counter, harassed them.
Police involved. Even more shady stuff was found (fraud with funds), people went to jail. Entire HOA board replaced.
Happy endings happen.
@WallStreetApes I was awake and watching the numbers when this happened. Watched only the democrat numbers suddenly go.
Next day my sister in law, from that county, told us she was denied voting because when she showed up they had already received her vote by mail. She did not receive a ballot.
@ebrockwayink ...excuse me?
Xerxes took Sparta?
Which history book is this from?
My history book says he didn't take Sparta, he did destroy Athens (which the Athenians had to evacuate to not all die) and in the end was expelled by a coalition led by Sparta.
@WeaponsVault 6.9 ounces. 7+1 capacity and minor recoil that makes it easy to practice with. People dog on it, but that's okay. It even carries in sweatpants.
@NavyStrang Cool...but what if you had a war college that had repeatedly and consistently failed to put out officers that win wars?
Would you maybe, just maybe, think about going "alright, well next best idea is to put the officers that at least won battles in charge"?
Maybe?
@827js If you're so mentally ill that you can't even be held accountable for murdering a kid, then you're too mentally ill to exist in society. Any society. Even prison itself. Execution.
@BebopJosh@goddek Multiplication taking precedence over addition in math notation was established in the 17th century.
I did not realize generations from before that were still around. I truly am impressed.
@DrAlmarielao Don't care. Your "let's think about what's fair to the killer!" type stuff has nearly destroyed western civilization.
Throw him off a cliff. Drive over him with a truck. Get him out of the societal pool. Repeat ad nauseum. Some women will feel bad, but we'll avoid a dystopia.
