Alex Smith was asked if he thinks Brock Purdy will win a Super Bowl:
“Yeah, I think he’s got a great chance. This is a guy that I think will always give you a chance to be in contention. Look at last year, if that’s not an example— they had no business doing what they did last year. Given all the adversity and who they were playing against. Look at the division. I still think you can make an argument that Kyle Shanahan is Coach of the Year last year with the job he did. Look at the way Brock played. Again, he’s always going to give you a chance vs anybody. I still think Brock’s best days are ahead and I think he has the skill set to play high level football for a long time.”

@Coach_Yac Niners will be good this year. The Rams are going all in, but this trade doesn’t make a massive change imo, because of the give to get… NFC West is strong. the key every year and again is team health. If healthy, this 49ers team will be hard to beat 💯
@Coach_Yac People are not reasonable. Verse was THE reason this trade was able to happen. The 49ers do not have a comparable player to trade (DL was a strength for the Rams). It would have cost us an enormous amount of capital. We can’t get everyone 🤷🏽♂️

The last time the Knicks won a championship was 1973.
@LombardiHimself The negative rhetoric towards Purdy is not based on anything related to his production or value. those people just don’t accept how wrong they have been about him. He has proven leadership and play. He is a proven winner. That simple
