@phys_educator We get students to come into school changed in their PE kit. We then give them the option to change after or just change their shirt. Depends on how much they were sweating in the lesson. It adds more time to the lesson and takes the awkwardness of changing in front of each other
@debiecPE We do it in our program, as well as other fitness tests testing various fitness components. They upload to their own personal booklet and set themselves targets for the upcoming term. As teachers, we only check them but no judgement/assessment is made. It is personal to them.
Sharing a #BLM assembly resource that I used for my Year 8's. It was a week long presentation with discussion and activities to continue in their tutor groups. Finishes with the focus on their own country. In my case, Malaysia. https://t.co/P6W1YaCG5F #HOY#racism#Malaysia
Created this Fitmorse code resource for the first week of school. Many ways to adapt this and a great way to introduce key terms or attitudes/virtues you want to see in your class. Make it more difficult by scrambling the word. https://t.co/ADwrzC890v #resources#physed#pegeeks
@waadalkateab Thank you for your documentary. I’m so sorry what the Syrians have and are still going through but through your grit and belief, you showed what does happen in other parts of the world. I cried the whole way through it. God bless you and your family #forsama
@DaleSidebottom Doing some form of movement everyday. I try to do as much playing sports. Although I don't like the idea of living life by a schedule, but a schedule is what works best for me and I get the most out of my day that way.
