@kukiGimenez@JMohlis1 Nobody who reads that actually believes that’s a serious tweet. He has 4 rings and has won finals MVP 1 time, he wasn’t even the best player on his own team 3 of the 4 times he’s won a title. Top 10 player easily but that’s an absolutely insane tweet that no one believes is true.
@JMohlis1@BradlyLoughren He most certainly did not go there for the money. He’s trying to prove that he can play in the top league in CBB and considering he’s playing close out min for a top 5 team, I’d say he’s proving he can. That doesn’t have to come in the form of scoring 15 a game.
@CoachMo115@gregpopabitch9 Bron averaged 26, 8 and 7 on 56 from the field and 60 from 3 lol. AD averaged 20 and 13 on 48% shooting. The award wasn’t close
Just a reminder:
Steph is 0-10 on shots to take the lead in the last 30 seconds of playoff games.
10 attempts, 0 makes.
LeBron on the other hand is 11-23
@CoachMo115 I get what you’re saying, just in the context of this, the stats are pretty jarring. It’s hard to argue against the final minute being a clutch shot. That’s what the narrative always was for Lebron early in his career of “he’s not clutch, he passes up the late shot”
@CoachMo115 You’re constantly moving the goal post.. first it’s clutch time, then it’s final 60 seconds, now it’s quality of shot? The numbers are the numbers. Nick wright is also using a statistic database as a reference so I’m not sure how that is valid.
@CoachMo115 No because that’s not what is considered to be clutch time. And thanks for bringing up the final minute stat. I agree, tells a different story. Here you go.
The last 25 years, finals minute of playoff games, on 3s to tie or take the lead, here’s everyone that’s taken at least 8.
I’ll let y’all peruse for yourselves, but, again, the narratives that we’ve been force fed don’t exactly line up with the data…
@CoachMo115 He sure does, but that doesn’t excuse two missed clutch shots at the end. He’s obviously not going to make every single one but he hasn’t ever made ONE. He deserves the baggage when you come up short. Just like Lebron gets from you and others in the same moments
@JMohlis1 But you do the same thing with lebron for MJ. You don’t gotta knock him down if MJ is best ever..? We could talk MJ Bron all day, I was just talking about steph not being clutch. He had a good game but failed again in the big moment. & his lack of finals MVPs would like a word
