@PhoenixBlackNow Absolutely. I say this as a screenwriting teacher and a comedy writer. Being funny on the spot is hard to learn. But being funny on the page, where you can look for the punchline and plan it and then execute it? It’s 100% learnable. (If you want to learn it, I can teach you.)

I just got my @austinfilmfest Reader Notes. Despite the fact that I submitted in the SPEC SCRIPT category, the reader evaluated my script as if I'd written a pilot, and was assigned to my script even though they'd never even so much as heard of #Girls5eva, let alone *watched it*.
