Long-lasting adult friendships boil down to how easily you can meet up casually; at some point in life, once everyone has parental responsibilities and is often exhausted, the friendships that last are the friendships that are frictionless and mentally effortless to maintain.
Rarely seen an actor portray shock, betrayal and helplessness in such a nuanced and measured manner. Hajra Yasmin stole the show in #DrBahu's latest. She delivers Mina with perfection. I think I would easily see any project that stars her irrespective of who else is in it.
Dear Barnes and Noble,
I walked into our new local Barnes & Noble just to observe. It was packed with families. Kids sitting in a pile listening to storytime by a woman with a silly Llama hat. Fathers and Sons hovered over sports hero books, Couples in the faith and healing section. The sheer JOY of seeing people touch physical books, learning, looking, thinking. The air oozed with positivity and smiles. I could feel the energy of sheer imaginations. It felt like the coziness of a fresh towel out of the dryer. A sense of normalcy that we have collectively forgotten, and so desperately need. I left after absorbing all the feels with a renewed faith in humanity. Thank you. In a world where technology has our heads looking down before even reaching preschool these days, your return has given me hope and serenity again.

Yami Gautam Dhar standing with her bare craft before the camera, in closeups that dare her β no camera angles to protect her, just long powerful evocative scenes delivered like a wounded queen.
What a film, Haq.
Defenceless and yet all powerful, portraying the pain of a helpless woman and transferring it to us the audience, looking directly into her camera and taking it on. It was one of the most powerful and felt performances I have seen by a male or female actor in a long time.
After Dhurandhar, many in the film industry who had never given Yami the place and roles she deserved, suddenly started seeing her in a new light by association because of her husband, the prodigy @AdityaDharFilms β¦ thatβs the greatest injustice to her as an artiste.
She stands as her own person, and stands tall.
Thank you, @yamigautam #EmraanHashmi and most importantly director @Suparn Varma and writer @ReshuNath who take on this subject and deliver this powerful film.
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Piyush Pandey. The world has lost an advertising giant, India its greatest storyteller, and Ogilvy a piece of its soul. His legacy and spirit will forever inspire us. https://t.co/wAzE0qRXHU
