@NdawanaY Couldn't agree more, if people want the PF back and the majority votes wins, it is what it is.

The UPND should focus on strengthing their appeal to voters not focusing or blocking ECL and opostion parties.

The battle should be the strength of ideas and manifestos only...

The past is only useful for learning lessons nothing more.

Each President should encourage his people and party to remove the name of the previous party from their vocabulary.

@Space2013M Agreed, I think it's actually very simple issues that have caused this.

The open minded believe that @HHichilema needs to shuffle his team to get a more affective output.

Both the loyal UPND supporters and those of us who don't vote believe this is key.

I thought the same. But it was a repeat of the RB vs Sata game. We underestimated the youth vote, those are the ones that turned the tables.

People who have nothing to lose usually won't have a sense of urgency to vote.

We support his vision and will support the development of the nation and its people. BUT we won't follow everything blindly or praise sing.

That's how we ended up in a ditch last time.

1. alot of your advisors and Ministers are not fit for purpose.

2. The "tribal balancing" is a ticking time bomb

3. Ask for a poll to be done to guage peoples opinions outside of praise singers and bootlickers.

@Space2013M A more balanced view on the affairs of our country would probably remove that tag, wether they are PF, UPND or Socialist.

They problem we have is the diehard mentality to one's cause or party.

That said there are lots of people who are loyal but not praise singers.

The mistake all Zambian Presidents make is the same. They stop listening to the people that matter and let praise enter their hearts.

This is a quick fix for UPND if they wanted but they keep choosing the hard road.

1. Corruption - operationalise the office of the public protector.

2. Cabinet reshuffle, let go of the dead weight. Yes they sponsored the party and we're loyal but they are not performing to public expectations.

Just by taking these two actions I guarantee a change in the atmosphere...

Whoever our Moses will be needs to be someone who is not looking for power and riches that way they can actually focus....

I love this... The problem with the current political system is that it is based on connections and money and not on merit.

People who actually make a real difference in peoples lives are too far from the positions of power. That's where their energy will be transformative.

@DavidosDivine Lol, you first have to take off the hate lenses, they did a lot of foolish things but if we built upon the basic framework you might see it.

1. They built the roads, schools and hospitals quickly. This allowed successive governments to simplify focus on hiring and equipping.

@HHichilema We need a good mix of the old and new school. We salute that there are young people who are moving into positions of power and influence.

The old guard must pass on the wisdom and knowledge and the young bucks need to open to learn.

But mmmm with what I have seen over the weekend, I finally understood our lack of progress as a nation.

@LankyObserver HH has good qualities but, proximity to the capitalists/favours owed to those who helped him get into that office is a stumbling block 2 greatness.

He needs to wake up and cut himself loose, immortality awaits lol. Otherwise he will just be a shadow of what he could be....

@AndyfordMBanda The problem with management of parastatals and by extension the mines is we dont appoint leadership of these assets on merit.

So we don't get the best brains in those positions, instead we get bootlickers and praise singers.

They don't work in the interest of the nation....
