Started 1st grade guidance lesson with a friendly competition to see which class could name the most feeling words. Top class came out with 30 words!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Followed up with “The Way I Feel” by Janan Cain and a friendly game of feelings charades.

Celebrated the end of a small group today and the kiddos wanted to listen to music. One of them kindly requested, “Mrs. Bell, can we please listen to kidz bop instead of your river music?” I didn’t realize calming streaming sounds practically has its own genre. 😂

There was a lot of talk about future careers while some of my 4th graders toured a college campus today, but about midway thru one boy stopped me suddenly & said sweetly, “Out of ALL the jobs, Mrs.Bell, I would want yours. It would be the most fun.” I am so blessed he is right!
