@Prowl8413@harristic_ A strong biome tint for grass + its own ground block mixed in would be ideal I think. Makes for more variety in the floor and you can take the color elsewhere.
@be3zy_b I feel like the rise of highly realistic texturing, gradients and almost painting with blocks will inevitably bring a renaissance of quirky, low block variance builds to the Minecraft community. Everyone is going to build like in beta in a few years time 😄
@Phlegeth@hiimluz_ + I didn't feel like Mojang overhyped anything. It was the community who speculated that something big was going to be revealed on the basis of teasers that were clearly for Dungeons II...
@Phlegeth@hiimluz_ You mean a live event at a gaming convention where they also advertised their current drop, a whole nother game, a movie, a Lego collab and talked about the future of Minecraft a bit? Featuring the fall drop was just a nice little add on.
@link_ttf@SirBac0nFace I mean those events are literally to communicate what to expect from Minecraft in the near future. It's on the community if they hype themselves up on no basis of nothing in the meantime.
@Puglin_Brute I really don't get how the community managed to set their expectations that high again, when it's an additional Minecraft Live, that comes on top of the two normal ones a year. Plus hyping themselves up for a feature, that's only officially been connected to Dungeons II.
@themichaeltbh I don't think they would just add a new area with other weird biomes. A fourth dimension could bring a more niche gameplay style, that wouldn't have space in an open world sandbox otherwise (entirely combat focused rouge like experience for example).
@harristic_ That's why we as a community should stay away from extreme standpoints regarding features and from calling the devs stupid for "not simply doing what I think is right". Let's be better and have open minded discussions that consider other play styles and perspectives! 🥰
@kozykricket@SirBac0nFace The Firefly Bush wasn't the first particle emitting block, though. The Spore Blossom was already on bedrock. Or is there a specific technical challenge with the fireflies?
