๐ฎ๐ณ India's most secretive consumer AI juggernaut, Primetrace AI has spoken for the very first time: @abhikejri said they "doubled their EBIDTA run rate" from 100cr to 200cr in the last 3 months.
That is EBITDA run rate, not revenue runrate. No gimmicks on ARR calculation necessary. No growth rate claims necessary. This is growth of what ultimately matters - EBITDA. Globally, I am yet to see a founder share their EBITDA growth numbers!
We wrote the founding stage check (first call commit!) and have seen all of this get built brick by brick and have learnt an immense amount along the way. I still refer to @abhikejri's loom that he had sent me before our first call for the clarity in it.
These EBITDA growth numbers are simply an outcome of the machinery they have built for years which is where the secret sauce lie: deep customer obessession, skill to find blue oceans, clarity to stay away from red oceans, data driven at the most granular level, talent engine that is unparalleled and most of all the richest understanding of the "Bharat" opportunity and the inflection that AI will bring to it.
Also, @abhikejri is doing a lot more than he will admit: he meets with new consumer founders and spends "real" time with them and shares "real" learnings. He is the first person I have our new consumer cos meet and its always magical. A LOT will come out of just this!
More importantly, has set the stage for global investors to (1) understand the India consumer opportunity when you actually deliver a stellar product that users want (2) understand the scale and depth of what is possible (3) understand how it can be delivered and scaled profitably (4) understand why "Consumer AI" might be larger in India than any other market in the world.
@PrimetraceAI is still just scratching the surface. It's Day 0, and knowing the math this team is chasing, I am buckled up for the ride ahead. ๐ค
