A man was among those who wished my daughter death in 2023. He called me blackmailed and threatened to kill me. I blocked him.

This year, he called my line. He was stranded in a far away country by an airline, and needed my help to return to Nigeria. Believe me, it took extraordinary will power for me to attend to him, but I reminded myself that mine is a public office.

I stayed up almost all night, making calls, pushing the necessary people, and guiding him. I had him safely flown home at no extra cost.

I checked in on him the next day, informed him how to proceed with compensation claims, assigned an officer to his case, and blocked his number from calling mine ever again.

If I could attend to that guy.......I would, and I have, attend to anybody.
