@Kashmir_Weather So it’s fair to be cautious about hyping a WD. A measured approach focuses on what the models actually show-strength, moisture, and expected impacts rather than assuming every WD will bring heaps of snow. But i know you are good on that part.

@Kashmir_Weather Accurate forecasting of weather systems especially their intensity and impacts is challenging. Models can predict the track of a Western Disturbance days in advance, but forecasting exact precipitation and local impacts requires high-resolution data that isn’t always available
