@simonrug At this time of the year quite a lot. They'd have Brian O'Driscoll and other ex-players (think Alan Quinlan does it too) in a fair bit, so not all of their stuff is this tabloidy.
Some excellent journalists came out of OTB in the past but that time is long gone.
@simonrug They need to produce a lot of content and clicks so a lot of their stuff is absolute trash, they've pissed off the Boks before too.
Whenever you hear someone say Irish fans/media are arrogant you'll usually find some steam turd of OTB content at its root.
@Overthehillprop It's not a real surprise if you're a Connacht fan; this is the norm for us. Only difference here is a high profile player has called it out, he'll now be punished for not accepting his place in the pecking order.
@MasterOfNonePod Ask him if he needs a license for them guns!!
But seriously ask him who the fastest conn player over 5,15 and 50 meters is and see if he picks himself for all of them!
Or which conn player he'd least like to wrestle for the last biscuit in the tin.
@10ep1 @Girvla I'm not a Leinster fan so view their schools pathway with similar grudging respect but there must be some way to get the best Welsh young players playing against each other as the talent is there. Expecting the WRU to do something competent is very much wishful thinking
@JamesBruce131@JamesBergin1999@rugby_ap So you're happy to stand by the statement that 90% of professional players you've played with doped? That's a big statement. Nice to see someone being honest about it if a bit disappointing.
@murphyrob Your mistake was believing the RTE commentators after they spent 80 mins cheering against us!
As soon as he said it my spider senses were tingling- think we were the second team to win down there after Edinburgh.
@Mike_Hennessy87 @MasterOfNonePod *3rd choice outhalf.
And before you mention that he scored the match winning drop goal against us, he was ordinary at best. With a competent 10 Edinburgh would have won by more.
@Mike_Hennessy87 @MasterOfNonePod Being annoyed that an egregious officiating erro cost ur team a game deciding score & none of the pundits or pressed even commented on it is a reasonable gripe.
Still complaining, months later, that the irfu didn't step in to offer a sweetheart deal to keep your 3rd choice isn't
