@CaptainCons Late afternoon. Stop for dinner after 2-3 hours and change the kids into pjs. Let them (hopefully) crash the last couple hours of the ride. Arrive when it’s not too late but save the bed time headache of getting the kids to sleep in a new place.
@barstoolWSD The front office deserves credit. Gonzalez has developed, appears ready and has played some first base (even though I’d go Vargas 1B, Colson 3B, Gonzalez SS).
Having built some redundancy for these worst case scenarios is a good sign.
@Sean_W_Anderson It shouldn’t be a factor in their decision making and has no impact on Roch’s future, but the Sox have a rough track record with 1st round collegiate bats.
Gonzalez, Vaughn, Madrigal, Burger, Collins, Phegley, Mitchell, Beckham, Fields, Anderson, Borchard, Rowand.
Oof
@JasonGinzburg@davemeltzerWON Depends if they cut prices. I’ve been looking daily and I’m someone who would normally buy. But I don’t see value at their current prices; they are 30%-60% more than what I’m willing to pay (depending on the seat). I’m guessing I’m not alone, especially for a 4 march card.
@burziyech It was buried in the release and is vague.
I think it’s likely they talked, Hammock suggested he’d be looking when NFL Assistant jobs opened and Frazier stepped up then to ensure continuity. One alternative is a power play by Frazier, which seems incredibly unlikely.
@danorlovsky7 Honest question… Is there an expectation of ‘communication’ from 30 yards away? Or is it more like a missed execution of a concept at the worst time (or some other way to describe it)?
