Le constructeur aurait apparemment envoyé un questionnaire détaillé aux développeurs de jeux vidéo, les interrogeant sur la vente de titres en version physique.

Il contenait une question visant, de manière détournée, à savoir s'il y avait un problème avec la vente de jeux en version physique ; en somme, on demandait aux développeurs ce qu'ils pensaient d'une éventuelle suppression des disques." explique Tom, créateur de contenu et auteur, dans le podcast Broken Silicon.
