Getting back to the Moon is just the beginning, it'll take a robust architecture to maintain a thriving lunar economy. 🌑
The technologies needed are already being developed and we're teaming up with @ExplrMedia to dive into some of them in this episode of #60SecTech!
The @NASAArtemis program is the flagship initiative with a series of missions that will facilitate missions into deep space—beyond the Moon and eventually to Mars. Suppliers from around the nation are dedicated to making the #Artemis missions a reality. https://t.co/d40tjuL6Tr
We're jetting off with nuclear electric power!
Our JETSON award from @AFResearchLab in partnership with @SpaceNukes and @BWXT will design a fission reactor that produces 4X the power of solar power spacecraft, helping us travel farther into deep space.
Live Now: #OSIRISREx delivers the US's first pristine asteroid sample after a 3.86 billion-mile journey. Watch landing live from @DeptOfDefense's Utah Test & Training Range. Use #AskNASA to send us your questions. https://t.co/biS33u6RtP
Honored to be on this journey with @NASA to land astronauts on the Moon — this time to stay. Together, we’ll be solving the boil-off problem and making LOX-LH2 a storable propellant combination, pushing forward the state of the art for all deep space missions. #Artemis #MoonToMars https://t.co/hqt4OqiREM
Even as a former Orion GN&C and flight software lead, the time on drogues before we deploy the reefed mains seems to take forever - from this angle the water seems to loom REALLY close!!
One heck of a boom! 💥
We conducted a burst test of our expandable inflatable habitat that greatly exceeded expectations, bursting at 285 psi, 6x the max operating pressure.
These inflatable habitats will provide astronauts with a safe environment for work in deep space.
Splashdown of @NASA_Orion! Just amazing. So proud of everyone. A crowd of 700 @LMSpace employees and family watched live from Denver. Lots of Orion hours among these folk. So thankful. #Artemis
Thanks for coming by the Mission Control Center, @GioBenitez!
We're looking forward to seeing more of your interactions with #Callisto... 👀

First - apologies for unknowingly posting a render this past week thinking it was an actual shot from #Artemis - to make up for it here’s genuine video from one of the array cameras as it swept forward to get out of the way before a burn!
Hey @JenSwanBooks it was a total blast (pun intended!) talking with you and Jeff Gonyea about Orion and Callisto! The mission is going great and Callisto is working perfectly - so very exciting! https://t.co/XiygdPqFFX
Others have shared this but for that haven’t seen it - may I present the best lookin’ spacecraft cockpit since the Millennium Falcon did the Kessel Run! Snoopy in his orange spacesuit is floating down by the docking tunnel just below and right of center. #callisto
