Millions of us are still struggling to access affordable NHS dental care. I’ve signed 38 Degrees’ petition demanding Keir Starmer properly funds NHS dentistry now, will you join me? https://t.co/tiolerEsug via @38degrees
Today I visited the site of the horrific terrorist attack at the Heaton Park Synagogue. The overwhelming feeling I have after that visit is rage.
How dare a man welcomed into our country as a child repay that generosity with terror and bloodshed?
So many lives ruined, so much trauma, pain, anxiety and loss left behind.
I am absolutely sick of seeing Britain’s kindness turned against us.
The brazen anti-semitism on display on Yom Kippur under the pretence of “protest” is another example of people abusing the rights and freedoms we have.
Yet too many still champion causes and cultures that do not respect those same rights and freedoms.
The naivety of those who believe this will all go away with warm words is also taking our country down a dark path. This hand-wringing has a cost.
Before the visit I also spoke to the Prestwich Hebrew Congregation. The strength of Manchester’s Jewish community in the face of evil is humbling.
Manchester’s Jewish community has been part of the city for over two centuries. It is a scandal that many in Manchester and beyond are considering leaving our country.
For generations after the Holocaust, the world said “never again”. Never again would we allow Jews to be hunted, terrorised, or live in fear because of who they are. Those words ring hollow today.
On Yom Kippur, Jews ask where they’ve fallen short and how to do better.
We, as a nation, must ask ourselves the same. How did we let hatred fester again on our streets?
There are many causes: Islamism, Media bias in reporting the war in the Middle East, the inability of authorities to go after serial wrongdoers while instead focusing on minor infractions of the law abiding population and so much more.
The terror-supporting hate marches must stop. The Government must abandon its dangerous 'Islamophobia' definition. And we need a wholesale new approach to tackling misinformation and bias in our media.
We’ve tolerated this poison for too long - because too many politicians have been too weak or too cowardly to even say what they see, let alone confront it.
My message in Manchester is simple: no more.
No more fear. No more excuses. No more looking away.
We will stand with our Jewish friends, not just in sympathy, but in strength.
We pray for the recovery of the victims still in hospital.
And we mourn the loss of Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz.
May their memories be a blessing.

Fearless journalist Lara Logan: The media covers for Islam’s image while ignoring the genocide of Christians in Nigeria.

Keir Starmer is very quick to label everything he doesn't like "far-right".
But when Jews are targeted by a terrorist called "Jihad", it's all "don't divide us".
Well, we are divided. And we expect you to stand up to the extremists, Prime Minister, not appease them.
Lead.
Of the 45,000 people on MI5's terror watch list, over 90% are jihadis
That's larger than the entire size of Hamas on Oct 7
and it's larger than the ISIS army that launched its Iraq offensive in 2014
It’s half the size of the full-time British Army
By 2050, the MI5 terror watch list could be larger than the British Army
If those stats aren't alarming enough, polling shows that (at least) 9% of UK Muslims admit to being jihadis, extremists or supporters of terrorism
9% of the UK Muslim population is approx. 350,000 - 400,000 people
As the Muslim population rises, this figures could double in the next two decades
Yes, of course many Muslims are well adjusted and integrated. That's to be celebrated. But we must not pretend - as our political and media class pretend - that extremist views are only held by a tiny "fringe minority"
A sizable percentage - hundreds of thousands or more - hold views, attitudes and beliefs that are abhorrent to our society and our way of life
Our politicians cannot keep their heads in the sand
The first duty of any state is to protect its people, territory and interests from both external and internal threats.
The Government’s commitment to increase defence spending to 2.5% - 5% of GDP shows it recognises the growing threats we face from ABROAD
But I would argue the DOMESTIC threat to national security is at least as great as any external threat
Indeed, based on population growth projections, the domestic threat may be far greater
To put it bluntly: unless action is taken soon, we are facing a demographic time bomb
Yet Labour refuses to acknowledge any of this. I can't think of a more serious dereliction of duty.

If these people genuinely care about Palestine - Go there, get rid of Hamas and all they stand for, and instead of getting guns and ammunition rebuild the country. Stop playing the victim!!
And about time too. If these alleged protesters want to effect change - Go to Palestine , get rid of Hamas and rebuild the Country. Don't blame everyone else.

If a foreigner is spouting vile hate on our streets, then let's just deport them.
We don't have to tolerate it. We don't have to accommodate them.
Gone. Never allowed back.
This is not complicated.
The CHILDREN of asylum seekers or Pakistani migrants were responsible for these & other attacks:
Manchester Synagogue
Southport
Manchester Arena
London Bridge
Westminster Bridge
Sir David Amess
7/7
These attacks ARE connected to our asylum & immigration system.
The issue few want to address, but which I've long raised, is that asylum seekers AND THEIR CHILDREN are more prone to terrorism & criminality -- esp. if they experienced violence
But our media and political class would rather pretend otherwise (eg "Axel Rudakubana was a Welsh choirboy").
That the attackers were born or grew up in Britain is IRRELEVANT.
This is a fundamental fact no one wishes to discuss.
The implications are so explosive politicians and broadcasters would prefer to say it is "far right" misinformation to suggest the these terror attacks are linked to the asylum system. THIS IS WRONG. The link is obvious.
More broadly, the asylum system has imported HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of fit, young men, many of whom have seen - or participated in - unspeakable horrors and have arrived in the UK as bogus applicants.
Huge numbers are poorly adjusted, emotionally dead and suffering serious psychological issues - others are simply evil.
The same goes for the 1,000+ radicalised British-born immigrant offspring who left Britain to fight for ISIS in Syria and have returned psychologically disturbed but brutally hardened, many of them murderers.
Why would any society knowingly import people who fail to become productive members of society, are a burden on on our overstretched mental health services and - worst of all - pose a potential risk to both the safety of individuals and the security of the nation?
The personality, psychology and mental health of those we import to this country - and of their British-born children - is a major issue; yet it remains a taboo few are willing to discuss.
We are importing a population of "ticking time bombs".

It's just astonishing how much really nasty personal abuse I've received today for simply posting the reported and factual findings of a survey. Good job I don't give a f***k.

Rafe Haydel-Mankoo slams the government’s failure to control immigration and protect national security.
British MP Nick Timothy got accused of “Islamophobia” after introducing a bill to protect freedom of speech and prevent persecution of British citizens who criticize Islam. He insisted “Islam is false religion”.
Do you agree with him? Yes or No?
Begging left wing militants to desist will not work.
It’s also humiliating.
You need to take action.
Under the law, the Met Commissioner needs to request a ban. You then need to authorise the ban.
That’s how you stop the hate marches this weekend.
If they did it for the English Defence League and stopped migrant protests outside Docklands hotel then they can do it for these hate pro Palestine marches. Unless of course there are double standards !
