Incredibly dense and complicated visit to a maximum/medium security prison here in Spain. I am grateful for one brief but beautiful moment of connection with a prisoner from Morocco who is helping other North African prisoners to navigate prison life. @PTPresearch

Today in Barcelona the ⁦@PTPresearch⁩ is having a fascinating meeting with prison officials in Catalonia, learning how they have take up and adapted Canada’s problematic rehabilitation scheme.

Today we met with Inaki Rivera Beiras, an astonishing scholar and activist. His outspoken views on Catalan prisons made him a target of the Spanish State. He also founded the local, citizen driven prison observatory. ⁦@PTPresearch⁩ has a new and valued friend.
