@peacocklady0 Engineers and technicians tend to resent managers that don't know how to use the equipment or could step in and handle the day to day processes, or who manage from on high (different floor, corner office, etc).
@jacasiegel University-wide email listed promoting a culture of care as an objective, then defined it as ensuring students graduate on time. I was shook. The bar truly is so low.

We each wrote a poem based on George Lyon’s poem “Where I’m From” and then picked our favourite line to make a whole-class poem. This is where we are from!
Hmm... might show this as a case study for patent searches. Anybody have other examples of vintage artifacts where some provenance could be determined through patent search?

If you are challenging the status quo, trying something new, or working to create change, that is leadership and it means you are a leader.
@tannertheteach @erinentrada I dunno, when there are lines like "And natives don’t mind dying, you know. They don’t feel about it as Europeans do.”... I just feel that would make kids feel a certain way and should probably be addressed.
