I woke up yesterday morning, looked out my window and saw the neighbors had hung this flag on their childrenβs playground.
Pull up a seat, and join me, friends, for The Chronicles of Being Black in a Rich, White suburb

call me crazy, but folks upset about coke at the white house have so much time in their hands they should be embarrassed.
You know the USFG kills people, right? Like, you're upset there's coke at the white house but just wait until you see what drugs Congress & the CIA have!
@FemboyLifestyle@bi_scotti_5 Reading this makes me imagine you see yourself above the consequences of it all - which us rich. Like a label or lines we define matter? also your fury absolves you of the mutual responsibility to find solidarity with folks you don't agree with 100% or who offend you slightly...

An irony of the βgroomerβ bullshit is I understood I was trans at 11 but no one in my life talked about transness so to learn about myself I had to use the internet and found stuff that was VERY not age appropriate. Imagine if I could have learned about it from Sesame Street. /1

@Conspiratorpres @clozillee Like, consider the implications for the public good/discourse if the entire 501(c) tax-exemption provision also called for whistleblower protections, open-contracting & third party audits? I think I'd prefer if we couldn't get letters without public accountability... esp (c)4's
@Conspiratorpres @clozillee As someone in the process of establishing a 501(c)3 what shocks me about the discourse on non-profits is how most *could* implement open contracting, whistleblowing protections & make allowances for 3rd party audits in their bylaws.
Yet, many donβt for *reasons*.
Ever feel like you're slipping away and folks around you are a million miles away, avoiding you or ignoring your effort & pleas for help... and you have to keep repeating yourself over and over to people who *should* care and all the words you say just make it worse?
me either.
@JasonMiyaresVA If you were at all actually concerned you would use your position and political access/clout to push for the cessation & criminalization of drone warfare - recognizing their manufacture/operation for military or police use as a crime against humanity.
But nah. You playin'.
Anti-trans laws hurt cis people too.
Cisgender girls will continue to get challenged for gender investigations in sports.
In bathrooms, cisgender girls will be arrested.
Anti-trans laws don't work. People are actually quite terrible about judging who is trans.
Amid collapsing bridges and burning forests, I wish more people would realize that the ruling ideology of the last 40 years has wrought this for the same reason it cannot fight this: it doesnβt believe that government, the only system capable of addressing this, should address it
