The storm was not a surprise. The water was not a surprise. The @townofwinthrop saying “we have flooding in other parts of town the tide will go back out soon enough” and leaving the citizens of Morton and Banks without help again was also not a surprise.

High tide was at 10:15. These were placed sometime between 11:45 and 1, when the tide was already on the way back out.

To be clear I’m not talking about coming down here and evacuating us or anything…all we asked for was for someone to place some barriers to stop vehicles from driving through the water. It rose another few inches and each passing vehicle cased a surge into peoples homes.
