BREAKING: The Trump administration is suspending Microsoft, Adobe, and several major IT outsourcing firms from a key employment-based green card program, accusing them of abusing the visa system at the expense of American workers.

Vice President JD Vance singled out Microsoft, saying the tech giant laid off 6,000 American workers while benefiting from 6,300 H-1B visas and nearly 3,000 green cards.

"You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."

The Labor Department says it will stop accepting new applications and processing pending applications from the targeted companies as federal investigations continue.

Saya telah mengambil keputusan untuk menyertai Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM), membuka lembaran baharu dalam perjuangan saya demi Malaysia yang lebih adil, bebas dan inklusif.

Selama ini, saya tidak pernah menyertai mana-mana parti politik kerana saya amat menghargai kebebasan saya: kebebasan untuk bersuara, bertindak mengikut prinsip dan mempertahankan perkara yang benar, tanpa mengira siapa yang berkuasa.

Saya bersetuju menyertai PBM kerana kepimpinannya telah bersetuju untuk menghormati kebebasan tersebut. Saya akan terus bebas menyatakan pandangan dan memperjuangkan perkara yang saya yakini. Prinsip dan suara saya tidak akan saya korbankan demi keahlian dalam sebuah parti.

Bertahun-tahun saya memperjuangkan hak Orang Asli, kebebasan yang dijamin Perlembagaan, kesaksamaan serta nasib mereka yang suaranya sering dipinggirkan. Kini, saya mahu membawa komitmen itu ke dalam sebuah platform politik untuk mengusahakan perubahan yang bermakna.

Saya percaya Malaysia memerlukan politik yang mengutamakan rakyat. Setiap warganegara mesti mempunyai tempat di negara ini, dan hak serta maruah mereka tidak sepatutnya bergantung pada kaum, agama atau hubungan dengan orang berkuasa.

Menyertai parti bukan bermakna saya akan menutup mata terhadap kesalahan sesiapa. Saya akan terus bersuara menentang ketidakadilan dan menuntut pertanggungjawaban daripada mereka yang berkuasa, termasuk pihak dalam parti saya sendiri.

Platform saya berubah. Prinsip saya tetap sama. Komitmen saya tetap kepada rakyat Malaysia.

I have decided to join Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM), marking a new chapter in my fight for a fairer, freer and more inclusive Malaysia.

Until now, I have never joined a political party. My independence has always been precious to me: the freedom to speak my mind, act according to my conscience and stand up for what is right, regardless of who holds power.

I agreed to join PBM because its leadership has agreed to respect that independence. I will remain free to express my views and pursue the causes I believe in. My principles and my voice are not conditions I am prepared to surrender for political membership.

For years, I have fought for the rights of Orang Asli, constitutional freedoms, equality and people whose voices are too often ignored. I want to bring that commitment into a political platform and help turn those struggles into meaningful change.

I believe Malaysia deserves politics that puts people first, where every citizen belongs and no one’s rights or dignity depend on their race, religion or connections.

Joining a party does not mean giving anyone a free pass. I will continue to speak up against injustice and hold those in power accountable, including those on my own side.

My platform is changing. My principles remain the same. My commitment is, and will always be, to the people of Malaysia.

I seriously believe that government officers must be kept up to date on the laws and, importantly, the court decisions that interpret and shape those laws—especially where the rights of the people are concerned.

How can public officers administer the country effectively, fairly and lawfully if they are unaware of changes in the law or important judicial decisions affecting the rights of citizens?

Ignorance of the law within the very machinery entrusted to administer and enforce it is simply unacceptable. Laws evolve. Courts clarify them. Government officers must keep up.

Otherwise, outdated knowledge leads to outdated practices—and it is ordinary people whose rights suffer as a result.

For them to say, “We went to a NICE Facility today,” as opposed to “ICE” or, “NICE Agents have deported a Violent Drug Dealer,” they won’t be able to handle it, they will go totally crazy! All it means is adding an “N” (“National”) to “ICE (“Immigration and Customs Enforcement”) — A much more prestigious name. Everyone loves it, but I have been told by the legendary Tom Homan that the Agents do not love it as much as the other population. Who thinks that we should add an “N” to change the name of “ICE” to “NICE?”
