Dear @abcnews,
There's no report on your website regarding Linda Reynolds leaking confidential correspondence about Brittany Higgins to NewsCorp's Janet Albrechtsen. Why? 🤔 #auspol
This moment from @KamalaHarris’ questioning of Brett Kavanaugh at his Senate hearing has never left me.
"Can you think of any laws that give the government the power to make decisions about the male body?"
A 78-year-old man who confuses Barack Obama with Joe Biden, called his wife Mercedes rather than Melania, and thanked supporters for coming to a rally in South Dakota (he was in Iowa), is surprisingly still running for office.

I’m a broken record, but please remember these 3 truths:
1. Donald Trump is a genuine threat to democracy and the rule of law.
2. There are more Americans who oppose Trump than there are Americans who support him.
3. So if all those Americans who oppose Trump vote for the Democratic nominee, NO MATTER WHO THAT NOMINEE IS, Trump loses. And there’s not a damn thing Trump can do about it.
So please ignore all the Biden “is he in, is he out” machinations and simply commit to vote for the Democratic nominee NO MATTER WHO IT IS. And relax. And have a nice weekend.
The WHO has warned that the detection of the polio virus in sewage in Gaza means that displaced Palestinians are already infected and the virus is circulating, as Israel continues its bombardment across the Strip.

Recently, the rise in popularism in Politics gives rise to strong accusations that Climate change isn’t real and isn’t a threat to humanity. As an engineer I try to speak in facts when I advocate for EV’s and New Energy Vehicles. The facts are indisputable:
1. “Global Temperature Rise”: The Earth's average surface temperature has risen by about 1.2°C since the late 19th century, with most of this warming occurring in the past 40 years, driven largely by increased carbon dioxide and other human-made emissions.
2. “Warming Oceans”: The oceans have absorbed much of this increased heat, with the top 700 meters (about 2,300 feet) of ocean showing warming of more than 0.2°C since 1969.
3. “Shrinking Ice Sheets”: The Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets have decreased in mass. Data from NASA's Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment show Greenland lost an average of 279 billion tons of ice per year between 1993 and 2019, while Antarctica lost about 148 billion tons per year; I went to Antarctica in Dec 23 and saw this with my own eyes.
4. “Glacial Retreat”: Glaciers are retreating almost everywhere around the world — including in the Alps, Himalayas, Andes, Rockies, Alaska, and Africa.
5. “Decreased Snow Cover”: Satellite observations reveal that the amount of spring snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere has decreased over the past five decades and that the snow is melting earlier.
6. “Sea Level Rise”: Global sea levels rose about 20 cm (8 inches) in the last century. The rate in the last two decades, however, is nearly double that of the last century and is accelerating slightly every year.
7. “Declining Arctic Sea Ice”: Both the extent and thickness of Arctic sea ice have declined rapidly over the last several decades.
8. “Extreme Events”: The number of record high temperature events in the United States has been increasing, while the number of record low temperature events has been decreasing since 1950. The U.S. has also witnessed increasing numbers of intense rainfall events.
9. “Ocean Acidification”: Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the acidity of surface ocean waters has increased by about 30%. This increase is the result of humans emitting more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and hence more being absorbed into the oceans.
10. “Decreased Atmospheric Oxygen”: As CO₂ concentrations increase, the concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere decreases proportionally. Observations show a measurable decrease in atmospheric oxygen over the last few decades, consistent with the increase in fossil fuel burning.
These points are supported by extensive research and data collected by various scientific organizations and agencies worldwide, including NASA, NOAA, IPCC, and others. I don’t know about you, but these FACTS are quite alarming!
@Asher_Wolf Japan is a wonderful travel destination when you're first exploring international travel. So easy to navigate, great food, beautiful cities and natural environment.
We visited when our kids were 4yrs & 6mths. Was brilliant and easy.
