You know that famous Denzel quote “if you pray for rain, you have to deal with the mud too” ? I’ve been thinking about it lately. Sometimes the things we want the most in life bring us the most problems. Have to be ready for all of it. I hope whoever is reading this can relate.

This just hit me like a ton of bricks. Fuck.
I think my biggest takeaway from this year is that God listens. He pays attention. He may not give you an answer in 6 hours or 6 months, but when he does, he answers all the parts. He may be quiet sometimes but he’s only bidding His time. He’s never ignoring you.

When he was complaining to a Sports psychologist about his playing time as a Sophomore in college, he was told
“Why don’t you stop b******* about the opportunities you aren’t getting & focus on what you are getting”

Oh baby, honestly I leaned on God a lot. And I focused on serving. I hypnotised myself into thinking positively about me, most negative thoughts are lies. They’re just easier to believe. There’s nothing you cannot do.
Just don’t focus on other people, cuz who will focus on you? ❤️
You need to be very careful to not let the spirit of Fear/Doubt turn your heart against God. The enemy will do everything to convince you that God has left you or He isn’t answering your prayers, but it is crucial to hold onto God’s words and His promises during times of trials.
Go on more walks. Walk for no reason.
Walk to solve a problem. Walk to blow off steam. Walk to get outside. Walk to listen, read, and learn. Walk to escape distractions. Walk to improve your health. Walk to think. A simple walking habit can change absolutely everything.
