@trq212@theo Another gripe is there is no way to trigger it manually. The docs say it is either on PR or on push. How is a large organization supposed to reasonably test value if the second you turn it in to try it might just start going off on 50 PRs? The price is biggest gripe though ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@Austen@KellyClaudeAI Curious if youโd be open to sharing what models or strategies you are finding the most success with for Kelly generating plans and mock ups for projects like this?
@jacksonfall Could you do a version of this where it isnโt impacted by your social media growth and report the results after a long period of time? At the moment, your numbers are skewed because of people following and becoming interested in the idea.
@kentcdodds Hey Kent, would love to see a more advanced topics only package... or a build your bundle package. I will probably still get the full package but it would be nice if I did want to skip over some topics :)
@Xbox Tried to preorder. Your website crashed hard as hell and then my cart wouldn't work even though all of my information was entered and I was at checkout. Now it is sold out. :/
@ConnatserW@samar__vir Array.prototype.last = function() { return this[this.length - 1] }
you could do this at the top level if you really wanted to lol. dunno what it may break though
@ryanflorence@acemarke@geddski@tylermcginnis A weak example but letโs say you used useState rather than useRef because the value needs to be rerendered on change, then it would give you a warning. Super weak, I know. Just trying to get your thoughts on the warnings and proper ways to avoid mistakes ๐
@ryanflorence@acemarke@geddski@tylermcginnis I see, poor example on my part with the ref. I guess my point was overall I feel that there are a lot of times I only want the effect to run on one change, regardless of other variables. Which causes a warning. That is more what I wanted your thoughts on.
@sunnysinghio@flybayer Honestly 50/50 npm and yarn. Depends on the people Iโm working with and what they want. If itโs just me I tend to use npm for no real reason lol
@EmmaBostian I agree. Some people benefit from a CS degree and for some itโs just paper. I personally donโt have one, but it is intimidating seeing statistics on LinkedIn of applicants Iโm competing against. Sometimes 90% with BS/MS. ๐ฌ
@CHERdotdev And please donโt see my tweet as a defense of Lambda. I just donโt think for most people that $50k is โlaughableโ. It is actually a livable wage in most areas. I definitely have lived off a lot less.
@CHERdotdev $50k is high paying to a very large portion of our population. I think some of your estimates here are on the higher side as well. I did a search for 1 BR apartments for example and found plenty for $750-1k rather than $1,300 in St Louis.
