See. Disinformation especially in the firm of libel can be dealt with. Anyone w half a brain knew his Sandy Hook hoax claim was Bullshit — which finally conceded. It would have been biggest coverup ever. It would have taken 1oz of thought to appreciate this was BS considering literally 1000+ witnesses including victims families, emergency responders, hospitals, rehab specialists, hundred+ teachers/staff, funeral homes/staff, etc. Good riddance to @infowars and @AlexJonesMW3
@wefoundwes@HyeseongKimMuse Based on this photo if I’m Muncie I’m staying to my left and plan on touching fair side corner of base w right foot bc Vargas is more to the right and if he touches base w his right foot on the foul side they dont collide. Vargas then changes his angle. Boom.

On this episode, we chat with Cameron Brooks from @TheNCCourage — one of the most honest and transparent voices in the NWSL when it comes to what the professional game actually looks like behind the scenes.
From competing in the SEC at Texas to overcoming an ACL injury, playing abroad and navigating the early years of her pro career, Cameron’s journey hasn’t been linear, and she’s been refreshingly open about all of it.
We get into the path, the pivots, and what it actually takes to stay grounded in a career that’s never as straightforward as it looks from the outside.
@JeffKassouf It will be interesting to see how much the college players on the winning team can partake in the winning proceeds. NIL rules suggest a small amount. Maybe $10-$20,000.
As a matter of fact, I could put together a team of lawyers for under $500 an hour, but the real value would be in their efficiency in spotting issues, dealing with them and resolving them. In other words, probably as much as 50% in time reduction. These guys are at $1500 an hour and they take forever to do everything. The rate is supposed to mean expertise that then allows efficiencies.
@pjaicomo I wrote a book and speak on litigation management and how there’s too many lawyers out there that bilk the industry. These lawyers have made their bed and will be extinct in the next couple years. Completely inexcusable that an assistant would be billing at that rate.
Davis Polk this week submitted $4.8 million in April-only billings to bankruptcy court overseeing Spirit Airlines case, including three 2nd yr associates charging $1,410/hr who together cost $725k:

The scene is now set for new, "hungry," unproven agents willing to take a deep price discount for their services to enter the space and begin negotiating college athletes' NIL deals. This is great for jobseekers, but not the best result for athletes needing representation. 6/6
NWSL announcement: we’re keeping our spring-to-fall schedule through 2030.
The NWSL chose stability.
For brands, this is actually a gift.
You now know you have 4 years of calendar certainty to build:
1. Long-term activations
2. Content series
3. Fan engagement programs
Without worrying about how a schedule shift would impact your plans.
And the league left the door open for potential changes around 2031, the year the U.S. will co-host the Women's World Cup.
Read between the lines:
They're prioritizing consistency now so they can maximize the 2031 moment when it arrives.
If you're a brand still "evaluating" women's soccer, the league just gave you a multi-year roadmap.
If you’ve been waiting, now is the time to commit and be a part of the incredible growth that is underway.
So what’s going on here? Big agency got a 3 year deal for this player who ideal was due to her takent not agency. Likely her last deal. So the transaction is done. Fees are locked in. No other financial benefit so they move on. In fact this player just told us she hasn’t spoken to her agent in 4 months. Is this who you want rep’ing you ?!?!
Woman Sports Agencies: Transactional Relationships v Personal Relationships
We are friends with a top level player who we've known for years on a social level. We do not represent her and have no interest in doing so because we don't want to mix business with pleasure.
She got hurt a couple weeks ago. We texted her the next day. Followed up when she didn't play the following week. And, because we do this for our own players who get hurt, we sent her a little care package just to let her know we were thinking about her.
Her response: "Wow, it's been 2 weeks, and I still haven't heard from my agent."
Everyone talks a big game about caring. Ask for PROOF.

June 15th is approaching fast, and @EmorySoccer Head Coach Sue Patberg shares her insight on how you can put yourself in the best position to choose the right college for you.
1) Take the time to do your RESEARCH and attend the ID clinics for colleges you’re interested in, especially if you may not have many opportunities to get in front of their staff otherwise.
2) When creating your highlight film, make sure it is QUALITY and against TOP opponents to showcase that you can compete against elite talent.
I have a similar passion project. After 20 years in girls/woman's soccer with my daughters, I created @ProvenSports with two 28 year old ex high level players to (1) guide high school players to find right college program fit (for free); (2) guide HS and college players on Rev Share (backed into this but I have an expertise in it); and (3) provide pro players real PROFESSIONAL representation--the kind of services we provided to build our law firm. It's been a roller coaster 9 months! We are trying to elevate these girls/woman!
Last night, I made a simple request on X. I asked if anybody visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day would stop by Alan’s grave and leave a photo for our family.
What happened next honestly caught me off guard.
By this afternoon, dozens of Americans from all walks of life had made the walk to Section 60 to visit SSG Alan W. Shaw. Veterans. Families. Complete strangers. People who had never met Alan, but chose to honor him anyway.
For one day on social media, people put aside the constant noise and negativity and came together for something bigger than themselves. My notifications filled with photos, kind messages, prayers, and stories from people honoring not just Alan, but so many of our fallen heroes.
I don’t think people fully understand what moments like this mean to Gold Star families. The fear is never just losing them. It’s losing them slowly over time as the world moves on and fewer people remember their name.
But today showed me that Alan will never be forgotten.
After years of watching social media reward some of the worst parts of humanity, today gave me a reminder that the good is still out there too.
Thank you to every single person who stopped by to visit Alan today, said his name, shared his story, or took a moment to honor the fallen.
This right here is the America Alan knew and loved enough to fight and die for.
And today, y’all showed us all that it’s still here and it’s still worth fighting for. 🇺🇸
Why ? If a person has no money and only potential why not hedge. At 17 he netted $1.2 million after taxes. Life changing. Invest it and he can retire when he’s 40. 3 things we’re gonna happen with this guy. One, he doesn’t make it (many can’t misses don’t make it) and he’s up the 2 million. Two, he’s a mediocre player and he breaks even but he got a $2 million advance on his career. Meaning it’s worth about 3 million when you think about interest in investment. Three, he blows things out and having to pay 10% of his income to a third-party is nominal relatively speaking. This guy signed a contract where will net after taxes about 150 million. (As opposed to $180 million). If he cared about the 10% instead of signing with San Diego with California 10% taxes, he could signed with Texas and paid 0%. Evidence that 10% nominal. In conclusion, this is a risk management assessment.
The lender had risk in the game too, and there was a chance they would’ve lost their 2 million or perhaps broke even which would be a bad investment. On this one they hit. So did Tattis.
@IH8JeffreyMaier@88_Converse@Voltaicace1@JoePompliano I think we’re talking past each other. Clearly the adult was able bind the minor for at least one year. And this enterprise felt like they had an enforceable contract or they would not have given the consideration of $2 million. Bad advice if minor could take the $ and run.
