In my life, I have faced people who were absolutely psychotic and ruined not only my life, but also the lives of many people. And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that when facing evil, the one thing you have to not let people like this steal is your goodness, your light. Evil wants you to become like it—hateful, murderous, disconnected from your heart. If you want to win against evil, the best thing you can do is hold onto this goodness and not become like it. This doesn't mean you turn a blind eye to it, or that evil should not get punished. But you do not succumb to the same darkness it is taken over with. God bless.
