@ArmitageDW Oh one last thing, my PhD dissertation is on hybridization which has been helpful is knowing what to look for and what to tell people as Iridian tries to not sequence anything that could possibly be a hybrid. So always keep that in the back of your mind concern your samples

@ArmitageDW The nonprofit can do one individual per official recognized taxa. Her day job is with the ncbi taxonomy group though the nonprofit has no official connection with NCBI. You have stuff you want sequenced? I can put you in touch?

@ArmitageDW So the CEO runs a for profit that is used to fund the costs for sequencing. She sends the samples out to genewiz where they do the extraction to library prep so the work is not done at her house but she receives them there, catalogs them and then mails them to genewiz :)
