SARS: “From 1 July 2026 all travellers entering/leaving SA..are required to submit online traveller declaration before travelling”. I’m not sure what to declare on “leaving SA”. In desperation I have taken photos of my suitcase contents with CT skyline in the background. Can we upload photos? SARS, please clarify!
On June 11, 2026, researchers announced a device that produces fuel from sunlight alone — no battery, no external power, no human control.
It's artificial photosynthesis. But smarter.
Previous artificial photosynthesis systems needed batteries to handle the variability of sunlight — clouds, dawn, dusk all disrupt the reaction.
This device has an electrolyzer that automatically adjusts its reaction rate to match whatever sunlight is available.
Bright sun: runs fast.
Cloud cover: slows down without stopping.
No input required.
What it produces: hydrogen fuel — the same kind that powers fuel cells and industrial processes.
A leaf does this naturally. It's been doing it for 500 million years.
We've been trying to replicate it in the lab since the 1970s.
The self-regulating version — one that doesn't need an engineer monitoring it — is the breakthrough.
Current solar panels produce electricity.
This device produces fuel.
You could theoretically deploy it in a remote desert, a rooftop, or a ship — and return to find fuel waiting.
The power grid may eventually become a fuel grid.
‘Wales loose-head Thomas failed a head injury assessment on Saturday but passed another on Monday so remains in contention for Friday's derby at Cardiff.’
Funny that.
Many congratulations to Bryson DeChambeau on a magnificent and thrilling victory here in South Africa! What a spectacle for the game of golf. To watch two of the world’s finest competitors going head-to-head in a playoff is exactly the kind of drama that lifts our sport and captivates fans at the course and around the globe. But I must say, it fills my heart with tremendous pride to see South Africa hosting such a world-class event. This is a nation with a deep love for the game, a country that has produced champions, and a place where the spirit of golf runs strong. To showcase our beautiful land, our passionate supporters, and our rich golfing heritage on the world stage is something truly special. I was also delighted to see the Southern Guards perform so admirably, coming so close to securing the team title. They represented themselves, and South Africa, with great distinction. Just as the Nedbank Golf Challenge does, I have no doubt this event will also help inspire the next generation of young South Africans to pick up a club and dream big. GP

On the memorable date of November 11, 2011 (11/11/11) at 11:11, South Africa needed 111 runs to beat Australia in Cape Town.
This remains one of the most remarkable coincidences in cricket history.
Benazzi mentions likes of Spain, Georgia, South America, Asia etc in this interview.
His Aussie rival Brett Robinson in interviews talks more about parochial Rugby League code rivalry.
Huge contrast in who more suited to chair a *global* governing body.https://t.co/3fmBTrednP
Last autumn, Handre Pollard became the first fly-half to ever win 2 World Cups Finals and nailed himself in as arguably the Boks' greatest-ever 10. So what makes Pollard amongst the best knockout players in history, and how important is he to South Africa?

There are massive farmers’ protests going on all over Europe today that the MSM is hiding from you:
🇫🇷 French Farmers are currently blocking highways all over the country and are currently working on a ‘beseige of Paris’.
🇩🇪 German Farmers have brought the city of Hamburg and its harbour to a standstill.
🇧🇪 Belgian Farmers are out blocking highways and are dumping imported Ukrainian food that’s been exempted from EU regulations.
The genie is out of the bottle. The people are done with the criminal climate agenda and the NetZero scam.
Farmers are being wilfully ignored and their livelihoods destroyed by dreadful governments obsessed with the crass logic of net zero and corporations trying to asset grab farmland. And that’s why farmers are protesting across Europe. As I discussed with @thecoastguy / @GBNEWS
