Took some time tonight to improve the welds for the inside channel in the engine bay. The channel that was welded onto the replacement apron was less than impressive. It’s looking much better now.

Work continues on the rear apron and engine bay. I cleaned up the edge on the left side, welded the final fender nut on the lower right side, and welded the c-channel in place. It should clean up nice with a skim coat of filler down the road.

Another fender nut welded into place on Project #Super71. That completes the fender nut repairs on this site of the bug.

I Installed the c-channel on the front apron of Project #Super71. It went together nicely. It should clean up nice with the finish body work.
