Left the WHCD after having an uneasy feeling

There were no security or bag checks which I thought was suspicious

Everyone was ushered in and shoved through the doors to make way for Secret Service/dogs

Tickets were barely looked at

Monitoring the situation and praying that everyone is safe

my best friend and i went to the WHCD, and we ended up leaving early because something felt off

it started the second we got there. every event we’ve ever been to, especially at this level, there are layers of security. bags checked, IDs checked, actual process

this time, nothing. we were just asked if we had tickets, said yes, and got waved through

no bag check. no real screening. no line. just thousands of people packed together, being pushed through the doors as fast as possible

it felt wrong immediately. like, viscerally wrong. my bestfriend literally turns to me and says “i think something is going to happen”

and then it did

this cannot happen. not here, not at something like this

praying for everyone, but there needs to be accountability because this should never happen again

Political violence is a feature, not a bug of progressivism.

Because progressivism is built on top of a Critical Theory lens that sees the world through "Oppressed vs Oppressor" categories rather than a Christian Theology lens of "Right vs Wrong", it trains people to see opponents not as mistaken, but as evil oppressors.

If you believe someone is mistaken, you try to persuade them (what @charliekirk11 did).

If you believe someone is an evil oppressor ("literally Hitler!", "fascist", "existential threat to democracy", virtually everything and everyone is "racist"), you will feel a moral obligation to stop them.

This is why there is radically disproportionate violence emerging on the Left.

April 25, 2026, shots were fired near the main security screening area of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Washington Hilton. President Trump, Melania Trump, VP JD Vance, and Cabinet members were evacuated by the Secret Service.

July 13, 2024 (Butler, PA): Thomas Crooks fired eight rounds from an AR-15-style rifle at a campaign rally, wounding Trump’s right ear and killing one audience member.

September 15, 2024 (West Palm Beach, FL): Ryan Routh was spotted hiding in shrubbery at Trump International Golf Club with a rifle pointed through the fence. A Secret Service agent fired at him; Routh fled and was arrested. He was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison.

February 2026 (Mar-a-Lago): Secret Service shot and killed a 21-year-old who arrived with a shotgun and a gas canister while Trump was away in Washington.

Beyond direct attacks, Iran began plotting against Trump’s life following the assassination of Qasem Soleimani in 2020, resulting in several foiled murder-for-hire conspiracies.
