Called @eurowings and was told that meal requests have to be booked 48 hours in advance. None of this is explained on either website, anywhere easily visible, after booking flights. Extremely frustrated by the lack of service from both sides.

@lufthansa Wife is traveling with 4 kids tomorrow on a 16+ hour journey. Tried to book children's meals pre-check-in and couldn't. Tried to book children's meals after check-in and told she had to book 24 hours in advance, but also she'd have to book them with @eurowings.
