@MHSJohnWright@NaClKayaker97@Health_Almanac Because it can be repaired. I've seen it in my own body. I've also spent many years barely existing on low carb and zero-carb carnivore. Life is 1,000 times better with carefully chosen carbs.
@oxidativestate This should only be done when adequate non-gelatin protein intake is already present. Gelatin will make an existing protein deficiency worse.
@oxidativestate This would seem to only be the case for folk that developed insulin resistance as a result of B deficiency. Unfortunately these 3 have zero observable effect on me beyond neon urine. I've tried 6 forms of B1, 2 forms of B2 and 2 forms of B3.
@schober222 Thanks for posting. My dream is to find an easily resolved deficiency like this. Alas my ferritin is 185, transferritin 259 and the rest of my entire anemia panel is dead center as well. My labs are always "perfect", but I'm still exhausted.
@HansAmato Engineered by the Creator. It's amazing that anyone who has even begun to understand the complexity of such things could convince themselves of anything else.
@DrSteveGoeddeke@lukecadell 12 mg / day was the point where my memory impairment normalized, but all the internet fear around the green metal scared me away from doing it for more than a few months.
@TheCryptoDaddi Slightly off topic, but my (formerly) intractable tendonitis completely heals and STAYS healed on 4 mg copper bisglycinate per day. Takes about a week to resolve.
