@OasisNomad Too bad. Wanted to keep the burn mechanic. Without it, it wouldn't be a nomadic game anymore.
Keep the burn, tiles that are burning will burn all wood structures but leave stone bases. That way when the burn passes, you can go back to your stone bases again and rebuild damages.
@riceforfree @1P4ndo @Elijah_MT8 It's still early. Origin right now just feels empty card playing. No sense of control for my card comboes. I'm guessing a lot of tweaks before the official launch. They did say they will completely remove RNG. they made it the opposite LOL. Too Rng right now.
@BSCGainzy@philipla Don't get me wrong. I love the new gameplay and graphics. I was expecting a little more when it comes to competitiveness. Needs a tweak on the gameplay and on balancing. I know they will get there
@BSCGainzy@philipla I admit it's too early. rn they removed
1. strategic pass
2. energy counting
3. calculating speed
this was the core of competitive gameplay during v2.. they removed and and changed it to, use all energy and use all cards available...
@BSCGainzy@philipla played 20 games and only got my combo once. again, it's too rng for my taste. and they said they will completely remove rng in origin. trust me when I say that v2 players will like v2 more. Hence the suggestions right now to make it more "mind games"
@BSCGainzy@philipla in v3, comboes are too rng. if only you get lucky to get your combo cards. there's no way to retain cards at the early stage. and that negates skill extremely
@BSCGainzy@philipla yes, but there's no setup or whatever at the early stage. you need to have the rare charm to retain the cards. unlike v2 where you purposely don't use it to setup a combo the next rounds.
@philipla@AxieInfinity the goal is to retain v2 players. attract new players. with this gameplay v2 players will not like.
1. keep v2 gameplay
2. keep new graphics
3. atm to retain cards you need to have the rare charm. in early stage you just throw cards at random since itll discard anyway. too rng
