Unpopular opinion:

🔘Tom Telesco has an eye for college talent. If you look at the totality of his draft record, it’s a decent track record.

🔘Under Telesco, some of Chargers’ top draft picks have struggled to stay healthy though (Bosa, Mike Williams, Derwin).

🔘Telesco has had underwhelming selection of head coaches, but that could be partially because Chargers were unwilling to spend a lot on an HC (unlike rumors we’re hearing about Jim Harbaugh now).

❌Poor coaching staff usually leads to poor player development.

Now, Telseco is going to work with Antonio Pierce, who’s putting together his staff.

🤷🏾‍♂️Mark Davis went with GM experience to pair with a relatively inexperienced head coach, which is something he hinted at with @tashanreed.
