Dear Indian origin/American leaders in the US,
@satyanadella, @sundarpichai, @ArvindKrishna, @nikesharora, @nealmohan, @MicronCEO, @JayZscaler, @kunalb11, @RamaswmySridhar, @AravSrinivas, @ThomasOrTK, @LeenaNairHR, @snarayen, @VivekGRamaswamy, @RepBera, @CongressmanRaja, @RepSuhas@Kash_Patel
It is high time you all speak up against the despicable, dangerous racism and hate against Indians on American social media. And do something about it as Tech CEOs and political leaders.
The despicable, dehumanizing hate against Indians is being spread everywhere - Facebook, Instagram, X, Youtube, Reddit, Telegram...
Staying silent and not doing anything anymore - as more young people in the US are radicalized to hate Indians using social media - may one day lead to our own family and friends having to face such racist, radicalized, violent, supremacists.
American social media platforms are being used by adversarial actors to specifically target Indians in the US.
They are seeding racism and hate using violent words and dehumanizing imagery, programming many Americans to become racist and hateful - specifically against Indians.
May be it is being done to drive out Indians, attack India for geopolitics, or try erode India-US ties. But it is real, relentless and extreme form of communist hate that's being seeded.
There's no reason why, you all as stalwarts of silicon valley and politics can't get together, talk about this crisis, and take action to end ALL hate and racism on social media.
It shouldn't be that difficult in the age of AI to filter out, block racist and hate filled comments against any community, isn't it.
How come this is not being proposed and implemented across SV companies? And why isn't any of you speaking out against this increasing online hate and racism against Indian Americans and Indians?
Among all mentioned above, till now only @CongressmanRaja has talked about the topic of online hate and the recent attempted mass shooting.
Please start talking among yourselves, even if not publicly, and kindly take some action 🙏
The most expensive part of a hospital bill may never touch the hospital at all.
A patient admitted for care has no way of knowing whether the price on a medical consumable reflects its actual cost or a markup fixed long before it ever reached the ward. That gap in information is, at its core, a public health issue.
A survey of hospital consumables in Maharashtra found an IV infusion set with a trade price of ₹11.05 carrying a printed MRP of ₹325 ; a markup of 2,841%. A syringe procured at ₹6.75 carried an MRP of ₹57.20. A catheter procured at ₹29.41 carried an MRP of ₹310.
These are not elective purchases. Patients cannot compare prices, seek alternatives, or question a number printed on a box while receiving care and the MRP itself is often fixed upstream by manufacturers and distributors, disconnected from the trade price by a wide, unexplained margin. The result is a system where the party bearing the cost has the least information to evaluate it.
The regulatory gap is structural: scheduled medicines are capped under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. Most medical devices and consumables are not leaving both the pricing and the information around it almost entirely unmonitored.
A review of these findings and clear guidelines on the permissible gap between trade procurement price and declared MRP have been recommended to the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the NPPA ; a step toward closing not just a pricing gap, but the information gap patients are left to bear alone.

@aparanjape Nothing ever changes... You'll see a few social media posts but on ground really nothing changes...On the contrary I see Mumbai has quite a lot of traffic personnel throughout the day and across the city
#Pune Yesterday, was stuck in a big traffic jam near the Faraskhana Police Station (near Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple) near Appa Balwant Chowk.
The usual issues - incorrect signal timings, 2 wheelers creating double lines on a narrow road (obstructing incoming traffic), illegally parked vehicles, and no (very limited) traffic police presence at such a busy junction during peak traffic hours.
The sad thing - this was happening right in front of the Faraskhana Police Station (and Traffic Police Hub)!
See similar blatant violations of parking, etc...right across from the Deccan Gymkhana Police Station ...everyday.
If such traffic indiscipline can exist right under the nose of the police - no wonder we have such traffic lawlessness and chaos across the city :(
What would it take to ramp up traffic enforcement to the next level?
I have highlighted this numerous times - for a city of Pune's size (and number of vehicles), we need more traffic police, more technology, and more supporting enforcement infrastructure. And a strong will to clean up the traffic indiscipline!

(28 days x 13 times = 364 days).
Law & order in Maharashtra is today worse than it has ever been. Road rage, traffic chaos, police inaction, anarchic protests have become business as usual. @CMOMaharashtra@DGPMaharashtra seem to be blind to the shit show that the state has become.
He is Sam Pepper, a well-known influencer in the UK.
He came to India on Diwali and fired a rocket toward a group of kids, hitting a little girl. Because it was livestreamed, he couldn’t delete the footage, and his followers openly criticised him for the reckless act and expressed concern for the child.
He later claimed that the girl had only a minor cut, that he paid for the hospital expenses, apologised, and that the matter was settled. He immediately left India after that. However, the truth is coming out now.
The girl did not suffer a minor cut but permanent damage to her left eye, full-thickness corneal injury with uveal tissue prolapse. She lost her eye because a gora streamer wanted to have “reckless fun.” The Indians who feel “ashamed as an Indian” the moment some gora experiences the slightest discomfort here should now see how many gora feel “ashamed as a British” for this.
Requesting @MEAIndia to take up this issue officially with the UK govt. This incident must have serious legal and financial repercussions for that influencer.
Dear @nitin_gadkari
We need a public website that shows:
> Which contractor built road
> Which babu approved it
> Total cost & ministers involved
> Firm responsible for maintenance
Contractors are becoming billionaires while people die on roads
Bring real accountability now!
