I think the thing that bothers me about @infantrydort is, he is a peer and he was not a good officer. His record shows that. He made a following blaming his career on the Army, an institution I love. It was never his fault, it was always DEI or nepotism, or the like.

@Ami_Marisol @infantrydort I know him, and he knows me. he took my guys to war, and some did not come home. None of that is Adam’s fault. He was a AS3. I’m sure you are a good person in real life, but you are wrong here.

But what heartens me is we have many good leaders in the Army, I have fantastic peers that have earned the honor to command based off merit. Our Soldiers are going to be in great hands. But I am concerned for Adam’s Soldiers, if he ever gets some.

@derek923400 @infantrydort It is an honor, but the Army is going deep on the alternate lists in many branches and commands. We are seeing LTCs accepting BN CMD 3-4 years past their primary CSL window. He is a new LTC and will likely have some prominent names on that evaluation. BCAP used to filter.

@infantrydort Your future is one of two paths, you will retire from your job and receive a lack luster gift purchased at the pentagon gift shop. Maybe it will have your X name. Col’s and GOs will applaud you at your presentation, not because of you, but who you work for.

You will retire in that job, or be forced on a Corps staff where you will retire. You will return to special projects and random taskers that can fail without anyone noticing. Your career has always been that way. Close and Destroy, one ratio at a time.

No junior soldier will be there. You have done nothing meaningful for them.

Or, you will get Command. Not because of merit, but who you work for. Your X account will be shared and the Drill Sergeants or Recruiters will roll their eyes every time you talk.
