We read every Independence Day speech since 1960. Year after year, leader after leader, promise after promise; what do 65 years of words reveal about Nigeria’s journey?

When @StartArchiving first launched, one search term immediately dominated, revealing Nigerians' desire to understand historical patterns behind current events.

Created through The https://t.co/fC0pNfUvGS Fellowship, with funding support from @OlongoAfrica, Shalom’s Documenting Black Orpheus, a study of the cultural and intellectual significance of Nigeria’s oldest literary magazine, premieres on Day Two of The August Event.

I just launched a course on consulting — but it’s not what you think.
This isn’t about building a firm or chasing clients.
It’s about turning your existing skills into something structured, valuable, and marketable. 🧵
We cannot find Niyi and it doesn’t make any sense.
I went to school with Niyi. His older sister is also my friend and client.
Niyi went missing on his way to his farm in Orita Araromi, Sokoto Road, Atan Ota, Ogun State.
He was last seen on 25/05/25 wearing brown shorts and a white T-shirt, and was heard speaking with a farm worker named Ibrahim. His car was found near the farm, unlocked, with the key broken in the ignition.
If you have any information or have seen him, please call:
07062387565 or 08135139252
Please share. Help us bring him home. Thank you.
