I’m grateful to be surrounded by young brilliant minds that want to do cool things like solving @uWaterloo_CEMC @WaterlooMath computer science contest problems (CCC), becoming @learningcode teen ambassadors and hanging out after school at the coding club.

@Avabelly__ At least $100 for a $500 bill to be respectful towards the waitstaff as they are “expecting” that in their earnings. $40 tip is pretty low and I would be disappointed but I wouldn’t make a fuss with the guest either, they are allowed to tip what they would like
After years of Instagram/X friendship, reading and writing in all his books (When Passion Meets Project is my fave ❤️), and swapping endless messages… I finally met the inspiring @brianaspinall from @codebreakeredu in person! A true leader in Computer Science education
Excited for the pre-break Java Simulator Projects in ICS [3/4]U! One standout: a “Unit Circle Simulator” by Grade 12s in Advanced Functions. They’ll bridge math + CS by computing (cosθ, sinθ) and more. Still brainstorming, but can’t wait to see it come to fruition! #Coding#Math
I made a simulator a while back for @mathyawp Francis Su’s nested loop Toggling lightswitch problem. The solution needs tweeking and refinement, but it’s a good start and I’m kind of too lazy to do that now. I love the book!🥰 I’m going to explore this with my 11/12s tomorrow.
Incredibly interesting workshop by keynote @drjessehoey about Artificial Intelligence. Can we give computers emotions? Emotions encode a social order (the "flashlight") that allows us to work in a society. Thank you!!🤖@UWaterlooCEMC
Such a blast connecting with @thegautamkamath and solving pink napkin math problems!💕I am a big fan of his differential privacy YouTube videos featuring Mikey Mouse wallpaper. The @UWaterlooCEMC Summer Conference for Comp Sci educators was🔥!! Thank you @WaterlooMath@BillGates
Had a great time meeting @thecodingbarbie, Richard, and other high school CS teachers at the @UWaterlooCEMC Summer Conference for CS Educators! So important to get students excited about CS early.
The @WaterlooMath napkins had unique math problems on them. Can you solve mine? 🤔
@TheMathGuru In a perfect world, EQAO would be a thing a the past. We told our students we would count the test as their exam… yet we didn’t get the results until the next school year!! (This is a multiple choice exam🙄)
