Government e Marketplace portal (@GeM_India) has introduced a significant reduction of transaction charges in its New Revenue Policy. This comes as relief to GeM Sellers & Service Providers, especially
1. Zero transaction charges for all orders valued up to ₹10 lakh (earlier limit was ₹5 lakh)
2. 0.30% of order value as transaction charges for all order valued above ₹10 lakh up to ₹10 crore (reduced from 0.45% of order value)
3. Transaction charges capped at maximum ₹3 lakh for all orders valued above ₹10 crore (earlier capping was at ₹72.5 lakh)
This will enhance ease of doing business in public procurement for pan-India sellers & Service providers and make GeM a truly democratic and inclusive marketplace.
