@greally@jogleeson_ucsd@sebatlab Less the 10% of the population has any features. He isn't doing anything. You, however, are helping to spread misinformation.
@jogleeson_ucsd Try Google before attempting to quote an American for anything. I find doctors and scientists so desperate for credit that they often don't give it. Adding the 'D' isn't that exciting now, is it? America is behind. Use your position to help, not to hurt.
@jogleeson_ucsd Check out Dr. Mansfeild Mela. Look into his studies and see where the violence comes in. Also, Ken Jones was not the "first". "Fetal alcohol syndrome was "discovered" by a group of American dysmorphologists who published the first case reports and coined the term FAS".
@jogleeson_ucsd You are PART of the problem in America. Misinformation is the reason kiddos are not correctly diagnosed. If you'd like real information on FASD, I recommend looking at the two countries with the most studies and backing. Shockingly the US isn't a top country in this field.
@jogleeson_ucsd I am actually embarrassed for you. To leave such an uneducated opinion is brass considering your field of study. If properly educated, you would know that facial features mean nothing and that impulse control and executive functioning were the biggest issues.
If only #snl could express an iota of responsibility for its actions... Perhaps the #fasd and #Disability communities could get back to helping their people, raising funds for education and research, and living a normal life. #humanrights#responsibility
I swear this makes me so angry. @nbcsnl How could you do this? You simply cannot have inclusivity without including disabilities. This needs to be removed. Imagine watching this as a teen with FASD? You are that child they are bullying. #SNL not cool
The worlds obsessed with @KimKardashian 's new man @petedavidsonSNL I'm more concerned with his last episode on #SNL. Making fun of a kid with a lifelong disability that affects the brain and body is terrible. SNL you should be ashamed. #FASD Look it up and learn. @amyklobuchar
SNL you should be ashamed. Making fun of a lifelong permanent disability that affects the brain and body of an individual with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. "I drank when I was pregnant" isn't a joke when this disability is 2.5x's more prevalent than Autism
@nbcsnl "I drank while I was pregnant." Making fun of a lifelong disability affecting both the body and the brain of a growing fetus isn't funny. FASD is 2.5 times MORE prevalent than Autism. Do you make fun of other disabilities for a couple laughs? Please correct this with education.
