@bitcoinjack Yeah China is like the sugar daddy with an ugly side chick for Europe. We very much depend on China for consumer electronics and batteries among other things. I have a small side business that depends on chinese partners. Never been truly comfortable with it.

@BradRTorgersen Tariffs are mainly used for sensitive sectors like agriculture. There you find the highest tariffs for a good reason. Other than that tariffs in Europe are quite low actually. What Trump does is quite unfair because his tariffs are much higher than their european counteparts.

Yeah over-regulation is a problem in some parts of Europe but not everywhere and not on a scale that it kills of the economy.

@MacroCRG The old 'civil servants don't do real work' lie. Yes there are always black sheep, but you can find those in every big private company. I've worked both in the private and public sector. Working in the private industrie was always with much less stress and responsibility.

@Murfski_ Just simple ask and demand, economy of scale works for regular toothpaste with fluoride but unfluorinated toothpaste is not sold as often so its more expensive to produce or conpanies cann sell it at a higher price for it beeing considered "healthy".

@insiliconot Sorry mate... this just shows that you really have no idea of modern military systems and have probably never served. Western tactics and armorment since the cold war have always been focused on quality rather than quantity. Much in contrast to the Chinese and Russians.
